I didn't get to the gym today. Instead, I ate 1/3 of one of those GIANT Hershey Kisses (a present from my dad from a few months ago). Eh, you win some, you lose some, right? Tomorrow is another day, and I'll be good again. Really.

I've been looking for a new apartment and I've found a couple to check out this weekend. I am starting to get really, really excited about getting my own place. It'll be expensive (good lord, is this city expensive), but I figure if the total of all my household expenses -- rent, utilities, cable/internet, parking -- is less than one of my bi-weekly paychecks, then I can make it work. The remaining paycheck should be enought to cover all my student loans and general living expenses for the month, and I can still put a little money in the bank.

Now let's just hope there isn't too much competition for the apartments I'm interested in. And let's hope that they aren't cockroach-infested pieces o' crap.
