On Tuesday night, I met my very first blogging friend in person (well, friend strictly through blogging, not real life friends who also blog)... Monkey! It was so great to meet her in person and she was just as I had expected... sweet, friendly, bubbly, and easy to talk to. (And wearing very high heels!) And she put up with my incredible awkwardness. I am really terrible at meeting new people and usually just completely clam up ( "Awkward Silence" could totally be my middle name), or ramble on nonsensically. To the degree I did any of these things, she was polite enough to ignore it. :-)

Anyway, Monkey, it was great to meet you in person and I hope we get to do so again next time you're in D.C. or if I'm ever out in your neck of the woods. And thanks for deflowering me... I am no longer a virgin in the world of blogger-to-blogger in-person relations. :-) Maybe next time I meet someone "from the internet" I won't be so nervous about making a complete fool of myself. (Although I really doubt it.)
