Baked Falafel

My friends and I got together yesterday for a food, pool, and Rock Band party. Most of the cooking was done by one of our friends who is an amazing cook, and all of the food was vegetarian so I could eat it all! My contribution to the bash was "Baked Falafel," courtesy of Cooking Light. The general consensus was that it tasted very good, but I wasn't pleased with the fact that it was so crumbly and fell apart so easily. I guess maybe it needs that grease from frying to hold it all together. Or it could be that there wasn't enough water in it... I hate when recipes include measurements like "1/3 to 1/2 cup." Anyway, I'd recommend making it if you like falafel, but are either watching your calories (me) or are afraid of getting burned by sputtering oil when frying things (also me). Recipe below...

Edited to add: Am a moron. After reading the recipe as I posted it, I realized I totally left out the flour, which is why it kept falling apart. At least it tasted good!

Comments:

Um, no mention of the awesome wine sorbet or Cougar Gold Smoked Cheddar mac and cheese? I'm hurt! And hungry again!

That falafel was awesome.

Um, hello?! I only mentioned the food that I made.

The mac and cheese was super yummy, even though the roux was not made properly. :-P And I will not comment on the sorbet that was NOT berry or lemon.
