"Spreading the Love" Challenge

Ashley came up with a fantabulous idea for February... the Spreading the Love Challenge. What is it?

Instead of spending $25 this month at Target or [insert your big box chain store of choice here] on random clearance items, little nick knacks, and things we generally don't NEED, spend that money on Etsy or local shops and artisans.

I took on this challenge by purchasing both birthday presents I bought this month on Etsy (including an item from Ashley's shop, Joyful Star). I'm not going to be too specific about my purchases on here because one of them is a sometimes-reader. (Hi Angela!) But they were both super awesome, I'll tell you that.
