A long, long, long time ago, I asked for some questions for a few Q&A posts. I've answered most of them already, but there are a couple that I never got around to answering. It's not that I forgot... I've had them on my "potential blog topics" list, but never really knew how I wanted to answer them. A fatal combination of laziness, procrastination, and lack of creativity. Which, interestingly, leads quite well into today's post...
Anyway, today I want to answer a question from RA:
If you could have a personal assistant, who or what would it be (that is, a specific person or just a general role), and what would be his/her first to-do?
These days, I feel as though I need a personal life-organizer. I always feel like there are never enough hours in a day. I get paralyzed by all the things that need to be done and that I want to do, that I sometimes just end up giving up and doing nothing. I need someone to help me streamline my schedule, reorganize my apartment, rethink my wardrobe, and find time to balance all the things that need to be done (work, errands, appointments), that should be done (cleaning, exercise, eating well), and that I want to do (spend more time with friends, find more "me" time).
My assistant's first to-do would be to come up with a list of his/her to-dos... as if I'm organized enough to come up with a good list. If that were the case, I wouldn't need the assistant! :-)
